MolView
https://molview.org/ is a web app developed by Herman Bergwerf that uses semantic identifiers like the InChI to connect to chemical information in the cloud. If you go to any molecule and access the “information card” under tools, you will see the InChI and InChI key for that molecule.
The following YouTubes can be of value to multiple educators and were created for a 2015 ACS CHED CCCE Newsletter article titled MolView: an attempt to get the cloud into the chemistry classroom. Unfortunatly, the site does not have a valid certificate and so will not open in many browsers. Now, Herman made a series of YouTube Videos for the article and we will embed them below:
